Rubber tie rod end seal (5-23-101-33) with an outer diameter of 23/32 mm and an inner diameter of 15/26 mm for Yanmar tractors of the Yanmar F, Yanmar FX , Yanmar EF352T, Yanmar EF452T, Yanmar YM series, and others. A rubber boot , commonly known as a " powder boot ," is most often a rubber cone (or tube), tapered on one or both ends with a groove for easier mounting, for example, a tourniquet. These boots are used not only on gear shift levers and tie rod ends, but are also used internally in machine systems, sealing assemblies of parts, such as half-axles or various shafts, that are not subjected to rotational speeds during operation. The main task of the "powder tank" is to protect the mechanical assembly from getting dirt inside and to prevent the washing out of the lubricant, which is present in many moving parts of the tractor.
