Clutch disc with a diameter of 183 mm , hub height of 21 mm , internal diameter measured between teeth of 20 mm and 14 spline teeth for Japanese tractors and mini tractors of the Kubota brand B and XB series and others.
The clutch disc is the component responsible for transferring power from the engine (crankshaft) to the gearbox (input shaft). The disc consists of a hub with a splined shaft mounted on the clutch shaft and a disc with springs with appropriately thick friction linings. The disc, pressed by the second clutch element, the pressure plate, uses the friction force (the lack of friction at the moment of power transfer) of these two elements to propel the tractor. The springs in the clutch discs are responsible for reducing vibrations generated during high engine speeds. The first signs of clutch disc wear (wear) are clutch slippage, which makes it difficult or impossible to move the vehicle and causes the tractor to fail to accelerate when the engine speed increases. The clutch disc may also show signs of wear if it is contaminated with oil. It's recommended to replace the clutch disc along with the pressure plate and release bearing, as all these components have comparable durability and wear at the same rate. Another sign of clutch disc wear is the inability to engage a gear.
