Main bearings / STD / Kubota D905 / D1105 / V1505

Standard size (STD) main shaft spacer and thrust bearings , 23.70 / 21.70 mm wide, 1.90 mm thick and 52 mm in diameter, for Kubota tractors with Kubota D905, Kubota D1105, Kubota V1505 and other engines.

Main engine bearings are semicircular rings that are mounted in special grooves (holders) in the engine block, between the crankshaft (main shaft) and the engine block (applies to the central shaft journals) in order to eliminate play that occurs during engine operation. Main bearings , bearing the shaft, ensuring the proper position of the shaft relative to the engine block so that the generated power is transmitted as smoothly as possible. The first signs of bearing wear are clattering when starting the engine.

The first signs of wear of the main bearings are an unnatural, steady knocking coming from the engine. Worn bearings must be replaced with new ones as soon as possible, replacing the faulty element too late can cause serious damage to the shaft, connecting rod or engine.
