Main shaft bearing (front journal) with standard size (STD) width 19.50 mm, inner diameter 60 mm . The bearings fit Kubota tractors of the Kubota L3408 series with Kubota D1403, Kubota D1503, Kubota D1703 , Kubota V1903, Kubota V2003 and other engines.

Main engine bearings are semicircular rings that are mounted in special grooves (holders) in the engine block, between the crankshaft (main shaft) and the engine block (applies to the central shaft journals) in order to eliminate play that occurs during engine operation. Main bearings , bearing the shaft, ensuring the proper position of the shaft relative to the engine block so that the generated power is transmitted as smoothly as possible. The first signs of bearing wear are clattering when starting the engine.

The first signs of wear of the main bearings are an unnatural, steady knocking coming from the engine. Worn bearings must be replaced with new ones as soon as possible, replacing the faulty element too late can cause serious damage to the shaft, connecting rod or engine.
