A seal is a rubber ring (also called a simmering ring, named after its inventor), usually made of rubber or another plastic material that meets specific technical requirements. A seal is used to seal rotating system components with a maximum internal pressure of up to 0.1 MPa, which are immersed in fluids, various types of lubricants, and sometimes gasoline or water during operation.
