The steering rack rubber bushing (steering gear) is used to ensure the gear is properly seated and operates correctly. The bushing's main function is to dampen vibrations that occur in the steering system during tractor operation. The flexible steering gear bushing, also known as a Silentblock , is made of a special vibration-absorbing rubber with high damping properties.
