What is a column cushion and what is it used for?
The rubber bush of the rack and pinion (steering gear) is used for the correct mounting of the gear and its correct operation. The main task of the bush is to dampen vibrations that occur in the steering system during the operation of the tractor. The flexible bush of the steering gear is also called Silentblock and is made of a special vibration-absorbing rubber with high damping capabilities.
