A sweeper, as the name suggests, is designed to remove dirt from surfaces such as roads, squares, sidewalks, areas covered with asphalt, paving stones or concrete. The 120 cm sweeper for the T 801/4 4FARMER tractor is attached to the tractor on the TUZ Cat I. It is driven by the tractor's PTO shaft. The working width in this model is 120 cm.

How does a sweeper work?

The cleaning mechanism is a roller on which dense polypropylene/metal wire bristles are placed. The shaft with a set of brushes mounted on it is set in rotation by the drive from the tractor's PTO shaft.

The effective work of the tractor sweeper is ensured by the guide wheels, which allow for the proper adjustment of the sweeper to the surface on which we are working. It should be remembered that too much pressure of the bristles on the cleaned surface will cause excessive wear.

The sweeper, due to the lack of a basket for collecting dirt, should work at an angle to remove dirt from the place of passage to the left or right side of the road. Working straight ahead is allowed in the case of removing dirt on a small section of the road. The angle of the sweeper is mechanically regulated.
