120 cm sweeper for a tractor with a basket, irrigation container, side brush and solenoid valve 4FARMER

The sweeper, as the name suggests, is designed to remove dirt from surfaces such as roads, squares, sidewalks, areas covered with asphalt, paving stones or concrete. Sweepers are used in the municipal, agricultural and construction industries. Additionally, in winter, after dismantling the basket, they can be used as a snow blower to remove the layer of snow. These are very universal machines, making it easier to keep clean and allowing for efficient and quick work. On the market we can find sweepers dedicated to tractors (TUZ) or forklifts .

The 120 cm sweeper with a 4FARMER basket is attached to the tractor via the rear linkage Cat I and Cat II and is driven via the power take-off shaft (PTO). The working width of this model is 120 cm.

How does a sweeper work?

The cleaning mechanism is a roller with dense bristles made of polypropylene. It is powered by power transmitted from the tractor. The sweeper is equipped with a basket located behind the roller. The roller rotates and removes dirt, collecting it in the basket. This container is opened hydraulically using a hydraulic cylinder (hydraulic outputs from the tractor required).

A machine for special tasks.

Additionally, the sweeper is equipped with a water container and a side brush. By choosing such a set, when working with a sweeper with a water tank, we limit the amount of floating dust and dirt. Water spraying also allows for more effective removal of dirt from the surface.

The side brush is placed on an adjustable arm, it removes dirt from surfaces and nooks and crannies that the sweeper shaft cannot reach. Most often, these are places near curbs, walls and shelves. The side brush is mounted on the right side of the sweeper .

• The bristles of the side brush are made of two types of material - polypropylene bristles and wire bristles,
• The diameter of the side brush is 50 cm,
• Possibility to adjust the brush position in three planes.

A noteworthy advantage is the reaction of the brush when it encounters an obstacle - the brush moves back and then returns to its original position after passing the obstacle. A properly adjusted side brush (brush face) should be slightly tilted forward. Appropriate setting of the height and angle of the side brush will increase sweeping efficiency and reduce excessive brush wear.

The effective operation of the tractor sweeper is ensured by the guide wheels, which enable proper positioning of the sweeper to the surface on which we are working. Please remember that too much pressure of the bristles on the surface to be cleaned will cause excessive wear.
