Product description

Proper care for crops, as well as a significant increase in catch crops are the advantages of having a fertilizer spreader . This agricultural machine plays a very important role in any farm. Currently, there is a large group of spreaders on the market, we can divide them according to the mechanism of operation, but also the capacity of the tank itself. The decision to choose the best one depends on the acreage we have.

The RS-800 Langren double-disc single-discharge spreader is a product with an 800 L fertilizer tank. Additionally, it is possible to buy an additional extension, which increases the capacity of the tank to over 1000 L. Thanks to the appropriate structure of the spreader, the fertilizer descends evenly. This machine is dedicated to larger farms with large cultivation areas. In the case of this model, the area on which the material can be spread is from 10 to 18 M. This unique agricultural machine is mounted on the rear three-point linkage (three-point linkage) and driven by a power take-off shaft (PTO). The required minimum tractor power for effective work is 45 HP.

Double disc fertilizer spreader - what are the advantages of this agricultural machine?

  • Opening and closing of the chutes is done hydraulically,
  • Equipping the spreader with a slow-running eccentric agitator with lubrication prevents grinding the fertilizer,
  • The sowing elements and covers are made of stainless steel,
  • The entire structure of the spreader (with the exception of stainless steel elements) is shot-blasted and powder coated with UV paint,
  • The spreader gearbox is Polish production, in addition, the manufacturer provides a 2-year warranty on the drive transmission element, there is no need to use clutches
  • The mounting bolts in the spreader frame are rotated, double-sided,
  • The breather in the gear is both a drain plug and an inspection hole for checking the gear lubricant.

When choosing the right spreader, pay attention to the machine's operating mechanism - the RS-800 Langren model is a double-disc, single-discharge spreader; as well as the capacity of the tank - the presented product provides a capacity of 800 L. The disc-type spreader works on the principle of one or more discs that rotate and spread the fertilizer over a predetermined distance by means of blades. However, the choice of the ideal size of the spreader should depend on the area of our crops and the needs of our farm.

Correct selection of a plow for the power and weight of the tractor is key to effective plowing and protection of the drive system against overload. It is assumed that for each plow body (furrow) with a width of approx. 20-25 cm, a mini tractor should have a power of 8 to 12 HP, depending on the soil compactness. For machines with 15-20 HP, the optimal solution is usually a single-furrow plow, while units over 22-25 HP with 4x4 drive can handle a light two-furrow plow. It is also important to set the plowing depth and the pull point, which allows for maintaining a straight path without the need for constant steering correction. Robust agricultural equipment from brands such as Geograss or TRX has been designed to minimize the resistance offered by the soil, which directly translates into lower fuel consumption. Remember that a plow that is too large will cause excessive wheel slip and may lead to premature clutch wear. Before purchasing, always check the three-point linkage (TUZ) lifting capacity of your tractor to ensure the machine safely lifts the tool in the transport position.

For professional orchardists, a side rototiller (inter-row) is dedicated, allowing for precise cultivation right next to tree trunks. Regardless of the model, the heart of the machine is a durable angle gearbox and hardened cutting blades, which must be regularly checked for sharpness and tightness. The correct PTO speed (standard 540 rpm) ensures an optimal granular structure of the soil, which promotes better aeration and water retention. If you need to clear wasteland, tall grass, thickets, and even small branches in an orchard, a rear-mounted flail mower will be unrivaled. Equipped with heavy hammer-type flails, this machine not only cuts vegetation but also shreds it very thoroughly, leaving natural fertilizer on the surface in the form of mulch. This is a much safer solution in stony areas because the housing design holds debris inside the device.
