In order to enjoy a beautiful, dense lawn or a large crop of vegetables and fruit, it is very important to prepare the soil properly. These works are primarily to make it fluffy, it cannot be too compact, but also not too light, additionally it is necessary for it to have an appropriate level of humidity and aeration. An important issue is to provide the right amount of nutrients that ensure proper growth of plants. Nutrients include the humus content in the soil.

The MZ model cultivator combines all the elements that make it possible to prepare the soil for sowing. It is a combination of a very active tiller with a stone separator and a mesh roller that completely levels the cultivation surface.
Principle of operation:
The tiller, which is driven by the tractor's power take-off shaft, thoroughly processes the soil. Right behind the tiller are the stone separation bars. The tiller rotates in the opposite direction to the tractor's travel and thus throws the stones onto the upper part of the bars, which slide down to the bottom of the crop. The last element of the aggregate is a mesh roller that completely levels the cultivation surface. In this way, the crop is very well loosened, and the surface is even and free of stones.

It is also important to set the plowing depth and the pull point, which allows for maintaining a straight path without the need for constant steering correction. Robust agricultural equipment from brands such as Geograss or TRX has been designed to minimize the resistance offered by the soil, which directly translates into lower fuel consumption. Remember that a plow that is too large will cause excessive wheel slip and may lead to premature clutch wear. Before purchasing, always check the three-point linkage (TUZ) lifting capacity of your tractor to ensure the machine safely lifts the tool in the transport position.

When is it worth using a flail mower instead of a rotary one?

The key advantage of a flail mower (so-called mulcher) is its ability to work in extremely difficult conditions where a regular mower could fail. If you need to clear wasteland, tall grass, thickets, and even small branches in an orchard, a rear-mounted flail mower will be unrivaled. Equipped with heavy hammer-type flails, this machine not only cuts vegetation but also shreds it very thoroughly, leaving natural fertilizer on the surface in the form of mulch.
