A scarifier is a device used to improve water and air management, especially in lawns. Thanks to the aeration of old felted turf, which blocks the growth of fresh green mass on our lawn, it allows for better penetration of water, fertilizers and air. By blocking air access through the strongly matted root system, the turf dries out, creating unsightly yellow spots, which ultimately leads to the complete disappearance of the turf.
The scarifier has a working width of 140 cm, which allows for effective aeration of the lawn, even if it is a large area. It has long, thin metal teeth evenly distributed along the entire length of the machine in five rows. Each row has 8 pairs of teeth, 26 cm long. The total number of teeth is 80 pieces. They are spaced every 10 cm from each other - each pair.
The scarifier also has wheels and a support foot. There is a separate adjustment of the working depth of the scarifier on the arm of each wheel.
