Thanks to the possibilities of modern agricultural machinery production, as well as technological advancements, farm work is becoming less taxing and more automated. For many farms, agricultural machinery is invaluable, both saving time and ensuring greater work efficiency.
Potato cultivation in Poland began in 1683, when King John III Sobieski brought potato tubers back from his Vienna expedition. Of course, potato cultivation has changed dramatically since then. This doesn't mean that those cultivation systems were bad, but time has certainly worked to its advantage. Today, both tuber harvesting and potato cultivation itself are largely mechanized. The consumer receives a clean product, often already packaged. Of course, this valuable agricultural machine, like the potato ridger, is designed for all inter-row crops for vegetables grown in ridges (potatoes, beets).
The ridger can be used for weeding, loosening inter-row areas, and ridging rows of plants up to 60 cm high. The width of the inter-row areas can be adjusted from 62.5 cm to 67.5 cm. The ridgers are equipped with ridging bodies consisting of a double-sided share, a moldboard, and two wings.
