Engine piston (rings %C5% 9Bci-do-yanmar/843-zestaw-pier %C5% 9Bcieni-do-t %C5% 82oka-yanmar-2010-shibaura-d258f.html">6-26-100-50 ) with an outer diameter of 84 mm and a total height of 87.50 mm for Shibaura tractors of the Shibaura D258F series with Shibaura N844 engines and others. The engine piston is a moving element responsible for converting gas and energy generated during combustion to the crankshaft, which is then converted into engine power. The piston is connected to the crankshaft by an element called a connecting rod with pin connections. At the top of the piston there are ring channels for mounting the piston rings, in the middle there is a hub for connection to the connecting rod. At the top there is the so-called bottom, which, depending on the type of engine, may have different shape. Due to the very difficult working conditions, engine pistons are most often made of aluminum and silicon alloys.
