High-pressure hydraulic hose 5/16" NF 215 bar - SNX1 single wire braid

High-quality hydraulic hose North Fighter SNX1 (DN08 / 5/16") is an improved version of the 1SN standard, designed for higher working pressure and greater flexibility.

Technical specification of SNX1 DN08:

Inner diameter: 8 mm (5/16")

Working pressure: 215 bar (the standard 1SN for this diameter is usually 210 bar).

Burst pressure: 860 bar.

Reinforcement: One braid of high-tensile steel wire.

Outer layer: Smooth (Smooth Cover), resistant to abrasion, oils and weather conditions.

Bending radius: approx. 85 mm (it is more flexible than standard 1SN hoses).

Application: Medium pressures in agricultural and industrial machinery.

Crimping table (indicative data):

For this hose (SNX1 DN08) with an outer diameter of approx. 14.8 - 15.3 mm, when using a standard 1SN/1SC ferrule, the crimping parameters are usually as follows:

Crimp diameter (S): approx. 18.3 - 18.7 mm (always check with a caliper after crimping - the so-called "mandrel test").

Recommended ferrule: 5/16" 1SN/1SC ferrule.

This hose is valued because, despite having a single braid (lightness and flexibility), its strength parameters approach those of older-generation double-braid hoses.
