Product description

D52 snap ring securing the balance shaft for LS Tractors of the LS U43, LS U50, LS U60 series and others. A spring ring called a snap ring after the name of the company that first patented its invention. A snap ring is an element of a mechanical system that is mounted to prevent movement of moving elements or machine parts. Bearings, bushings, gears are placed on the shaft and axles and unsecured with snap rings can be subjected to axial displacement. Snap rings are divided into two groups, for shafts, pins and for holes, and they differ in shape at the location of the mounting holes.
