Rotary tillers will find their application in agriculture and gardening. In horticulture to establish lawns or vegetable crops, and in fruit and vine cultivation to destroy weeds in the inter-rows.
Virgo tillers are designed for loosening and mixing the soil without turning it over, crushing clods, cutting weeds. It can also be used to mix mineral fertilizers with soil in agricultural fields and vegetable crops.
On the working rotor, with a pitch of 225 mm, there are discs to which the knives are attached. The tiller is equipped with a traditional hinged rear flap, which limits the discharge of soil and stones. Raising the cover reduces soil fragmentation and lowering it increases fragmentation due to the impact of soil particles against the cover.
The working depth (12 cm) is set with side skids or feeler wheels. A very important parameter of the machine is the rotational speed of the knife shaft, which is 265 rpm. The standard equipment is a PTO shaft with an overload clutch to increase the durability and reliability of the transmission.
The optional equipment of the tillers can be a compacting roller or a catch crop seeder.

Remember that a plow that is too large will cause excessive wheel slip and may lead to premature clutch wear. When is it worth using a flail mower instead of a rotary one?
