The cylinder head gasket is a gasket that is installed where the cylinder head meets the engine block. The place of connection of the block with the head must be tight for the correct operation of the engine. The head gasket seals the operation of the cylinders, coolant channels and lubrication channels, and separates and does not mix these two fluids.
