Product description

Paper fuel filter insert with a height of 105/113 mm , an outer diameter of 65 mm and an inner diameter of 14/14 mm for Mitsubishi VST MT series tractors, Solis S and H series tractors and other tractors with Mitsubishi engines.

The fuel filter is one of the most important elements of the fuel system, which directly affects the correct operation of the tractor. The main task of the filter is to clean the fuel from mechanical impurities and micro organic impurities. Fuel filters are divided into two main groups due to their application, and so for an engine with petrol fuel we will use a different type of filter than for an engine powered by diesel fuel. Regardless of the type of fuel, the filtering material is various types of paper based on polyester or cellulose fibers with the addition of synthetic fibers.

A dirty fuel filter restricts the free flow of fuel to the engine and can cause starting problems or even cause the engine to misfire. Sometimes, a clogged fuel filter can cause a loss of engine power or lead to increased fuel consumption. Fuel filter replacement should be performed according to the service manual's schedule or the filter manufacturer's recommendations.

Questions & Answers

Why is regular filter replacement (oil, air, fuel) crucial for a mini tractor?

User
Traktor.com.pl Expert – Technical Advisor • 17.02.2026
Regular filter replacement is the easiest way to extend the life of an engine from brands like Kubota or Yanmar. The oil filter removes metallic contaminants generated during operation, the air filter protects the cylinders from field dust, and the fuel filter prevents water and dirt from damaging the precision injection system. We recommend replacing filters every 50-100 operating hours or at least once per season to ensure optimal engine performance.

How to properly select and sharpen mower blades for a Japanese tractor?

User
Traktor.com.pl Expert – Technical Advisor • 17.02.2026
When selecting mower blades, consider the mower deck model and the blade length and center bore diameter. Maintaining blade balance is crucial when sharpening – an unbalanced blade causes vibrations that damage the hub bearings. Remember that sharp blades mean healthier grass, a cleaner cut, and less strain on the engine of your Iseki or Mitsubishi tractor.

How to identify the correct V-belt size and how to care for it?

User
Traktor.com.pl Expert – Technical Advisor • 17.02.2026
It's best to read the markings on the side of the old V-belt. If they are illegible, measure the belt width and its outer length (La). On Shibaura and Hinomoto tractors, it's important to regularly check the belt tension – too loose a belt will cause slippage and faster wear, while too tight a belt can cause alternator or water pump bearing failure.
