Product description
Flail mower with combustion engine – what is an ATV mower?
A lawn mower with its own internal combustion engine , attached to various vehicles, is an ATV mower . Although there's no strict definition, simply put, it's a grass-cutting device that, thanks to its self-propelled nature, requires no external power source, such as a tractor's PTO shaft. Although it has an engine, it lacks traction and must be towed by another vehicle. The internal combustion engine is responsible only for powering the shaft or cutting blades.
Types of ATV mowers:
- ATV flail mower
- ATV grooming mower
Both types differ in the design of the cutting unit. Flail mowers use special flails (hammer blades) mounted on a shaft to handle dense vegetation and undergrowth. Grooming mowers, on the other hand, use rotating blades that operate similarly to a helicopter propeller, ensuring precise lawn cutting.
