Clutch disc with a diameter of 275 mm (11 in), hub height 35 mm , internal diameter measured between the teeth 40 mm and 35 teeth of the spline for Kubota M -series tractors and mini tractors and others.

The clutch disc is the element responsible for transferring the power from the engine (crankshaft) to the gearbox (clutch shaft). The disc is made of a hub with a spline, which is mounted on the clutch shaft, and a disc with springs and friction linings of appropriate thickness. The disc pressed by the second element of the clutch, the pressure plate, uses the friction force (no friction at the moment of transmission of the drive) of these two elements, and sets the tractor in motion. The springs in the clutch discs are responsible for reducing the vibrations generated during high engine speeds.

The first signs of wear of the clutch disc (abrasion) are the so-called slippage of the clutch , which makes it difficult or impossible for the vehicle to move and the tractor does not accelerate when the engine speed is increased. The clutch disc can show signs of wear, even when it is dirty with oil. It is recommended to replace the disc together with the clutch pressure and the thrust bearing, as all these elements are of comparable durability and wear at the same rate. Another sign of wear on the clutch disc is that the gear will not be shifted into gear.
