The clutch disc is the component responsible for transferring power from the engine (crankshaft) to the gearbox (clutch shaft). The disc consists of a splined hub mounted on the clutch shaft and a disc with springs and appropriately thick friction linings. The first signs of clutch disc wear (wear) are clutch slippage , which makes it difficult or impossible to move the vehicle. The tractor fails to accelerate when the engine speed increases. The clutch disc can also show signs of wear if it is contaminated with oil. It is recommended to replace the disc along with the clutch pressure plate and release bearing, as all these components have comparable durability and wear at the same rate.
