Wedge, housing retaining pin, also found in brake system, engine, clutch and many other locations , 7 X 7 X 28 mm for LS Tractors of all makes and models.

A wedge, a locking pin is an element whose main task is to determine the appropriate position on the shaft. There are two types of wedge joints that use wedges:

  • longitudinal wedge connection (wedge for setting racks, gears, hubs on shafts and the like),
  • transverse wedge connection (wedge for connecting shafts, tie rods, sleeves and the like, mounting plates),

The locking wedge , in addition to positioning and locking the housing elements, also takes over part of the pressure load of the contact surfaces.
