Alternator for Kubota V2203 engine with a voltage of 12V and a generated power of 40A .
An alternator is a device that converts mechanical energy into direct current, alternating current, thanks to which it powers the tractor's electrical system, including the battery. The alternator produces current only when the engine is running and is driven by a belt drive. The first signs of alternator damage are a control lamp that does not go out, flashes or does not light up at all, the so-called: battery charging lamp while the tractor's engine glow plugs are heating. On the other hand, the lamp lighting up during tractor operation may indicate incorrect current voltage supplied by the alternator to the battery.
