Hydraulic power steering cylinder for LS Tractor tractors, LS MT3.40 series and others.
A hydraulic cylinder is a set of parts consisting of a piston placed in a cylinder. The element responsible for moving the piston is a fluid, usually oil, of appropriate density. The fluid injected under pressure causes the piston to move. Cylinders can be divided into two main groups:
- unilateral action,
- double-acting,
The working range of a hydraulic cylinder is regulated by the length of the piston rod and, in addition to the classic piston rod, we can also find cylinders with a telescopic piston rod.

It's best to read the markings on the side of the old V-belt. If they are illegible, measure the belt width and its outer length (La). On Shibaura and Hinomoto tractors, it's important to regularly check the belt tension – too loose a belt will cause slippage and faster wear, while too tight a belt can cause alternator or water pump bearing failure.
