Turnbuckle body of the right three-point linkage arm retracting chain with M14 thread for LS Tractors LS MT1 series and others. The screw connection is in the lower three-point linkage arm chain.
The appropriate selection of the screw in terms of strength should be made before starting the assembly, because the shape of the screw and technical parameters can have a direct impact on the safety and durability of the connection. We distinguish 3 classes of precision of screw production, i.e. A, B and C, and 10 classes (measured in mega pascals) of strength 3.6, 4.6, 4.8, 5.6, 5.8, 6.8, 8.8 , 9.8, 10.9, 12.9, where the first digit indicates the tensile strength limit and the second the yield strength in relation to the first value (in percentage). The higher the values, the greater the strength of the screw, so 3.6 is the lowest quality screw (low-carbon steel) and 12.9 is the highest strength class (low-alloy steel).
