Both in small compact tractors and municipal machines, we can find a drive known as HST. A characteristic feature of this type of drive is the lack of mechanical connection with the engine.
The HST gearbox has two basic elements: a pump and a hydraulic motor, between which hydraulic oil circulates, transferring energy. In this type of gearbox, the pump and the motor can operate remotely from each other, in which case they are connected by hydraulic lines.
The HST gear is characterized by high durability and resistance to overload.
