O-ring of the three-point linkage safety valve (valve BCA14C00470A0, 10032416001) with a diameter of 12 mm and a thickness of 2.40 mm for VST tractors of the VST Fieldtrac MT180, VST Fieldtrac MT224, VST Fieldtrac MT270 and other series.

An O-ring is a type of circular seal available in a wide range of sizes and diameters. The primary purpose of an O-ring is to seal in areas where high pressure is not present, but also where it is subjected to high pressure. Under high pressure, an O-ring adopts properties similar to those of a liquid (surface tension, plasticity, etc.), providing excellent sealing properties. An O-ring is also resistant to high temperatures during operation, and the selection of the appropriate one depends on its intended use and the material from which it is made. O-rings in high-pressure devices require the use of a special back-up ring.
