A spring ring called a seger ring after the name of the company that was the first to patent its invention. A safety ring is an element of a mechanical system that is installed to prevent movement of moving components or machine parts. Bearings, bushings and gears are placed on the shaft and axles and, not secured with seger rings, can be subjected to axial movements. Seger rings are divided into two groups: for shafts, pins and holes, and they differ in shape in the location of the mounting holes.
