The choice of agricultural machines that help maintain green areas is becoming more and more numerous. Currently, we can choose how we want to mow meadows, wastelands, green areas, and what we want to do with the mown grass.
The best choice of mower is the one that will take into account what we want to mow and what types of terrain our machine will come into contact with. Drum mowers , or rotary mowers, are best suited for mowing tall grass, meadows, low-stem green forage, e.g. alfalfa, harvested for direct feeding or further processing in large areas. The drum mower can operate on uneven terrain with a slope of no more than 12°. The area itself must be free of stones, branches, self-seeding plants or molehills. This is the basic difference between a flail mower and a rotary mower.
Thanks to its structure and operating system , the rotary mower allows work in difficult conditions, but also allows for a larger working range and precise adjustment to the terrain. A drum tractor mower , as the name suggests, is composed of two drums that rotate around their own axis, and its cutting part are sharp knives located in the drum. The number of knives depends on the size of the mower. Grasses are cut by quickly striking them with a knife. The diameter of the working disc is equivalent to the cutting width, of course we count it twice because the mower is equipped with two discs. The mower's cutting height is set by the manufacturer to 32 mm, but it is adjustable to 40 mm and 44 mm. The cutting height is adjusted using a spacer ring located on the working drum between the hub and the working disc. The working width is 100 cm.
Lisicki - manufacturer of modern and reliable agricultural, fruit-growing and municipal machines, tailored to individual customer needs.
In 1995, seeing the market demand for a group of agricultural machines, the Lisicki company produced the first model of a rotary mower, for which it obtained a certificate authorizing it to mark its products with a safety mark.
