The PTO/PTO output shaft (power take off) is an element for the mechanical transmission of rotational power and engine torque. The tractor's power take-off shaft comes out of the gearbox, hydraulic box of the tractor and is used to drive additional equipment that does not have its own drive. An intermediate shaft, also commonly referred to as the PTO shaft, is used to connect additional equipment to the output shaft.
