A pulley is an element of a belt transmission very often used in mechanics. Due to the surface of the pulley, we distinguish three basic types of pulleys, the so-called smooth (driven by a smooth belt), with longitudinal grooves ( for the V-belt ) and with transverse grooves for the toothed belt). The first signs of pulley wear - increased vibration levels and sometimes an unnatural sound during operation of the device or machine.
