The choice of agricultural machines that help maintain green areas is becoming more and more numerous. Currently, we can choose how we want to mow meadows, wastelands, green areas, and what we want to do with the mown grass.
Flail mowers have become a very interesting proposition for many of our customers. Some people call them mowers for "special tasks" because they can also easily mow tall grass or heavily overgrown areas. As the name suggests, flail mowers are mowers in which the mowing function is performed by flails placed on the cutting shaft. The cutting shaft rotates at the appropriate speed, cutting anything above the set height around its axis.
Due to the variety of areas that require mowing, the ability to move is necessary. A hydraulic shift can be installed on EFGC-K flail mowers. It allows you to increase the mower's operating range and sometimes enable you to reach harder-to-reach places.

How to properly select and sharpen mower blades for a Japanese tractor?

When selecting mower blades, consider the mower deck model and the blade length and center bore diameter. Maintaining blade balance is crucial when sharpening – an unbalanced blade causes vibrations that damage the hub bearings. Remember that sharp blades mean healthier grass, a cleaner cut, and less strain on the engine of your Iseki or Mitsubishi tractor.
How to identify the correct V-belt size and how to care for it?

It's best to read the markings on the side of the old V-belt. If they are illegible, measure the belt width and its outer length (La). On Shibaura and Hinomoto tractors, it's important to regularly check the belt tension – too loose a belt will cause slippage and faster wear, while too tight a belt can cause alternator or water pump bearing failure.
