Piston ring kit (piston 1A021-21112) with a diameter of 83 mm (STD) for tractors with Kubota V2003-DI engines and others.
Piston rings seal the space between the piston and cylinder walls. During combustion of the fuel mixture in the engine chamber, chemical energy is exchanged for mechanical energy, which is why the tightness of these two components is crucial. Another important role of piston rings in an engine is to scrape excess oil from the cylinder walls during piston movement, ensuring proper lubrication. In internal combustion engines, there are three basic types of rings: compression rings, oil control rings, and compression/scraper rings.
When replacing the rings, pay particular attention to the order in which they are positioned on the piston. Install the rings in the correct order: the oil control ring first, the compression ring second, and the oil seal ring third.

The first signs of piston ring wear are increased fuel consumption, loss of engine oil, loss of power, black smoke from the exhaust pipe of a hot engine, uneven engine operation at idle, an unnatural, easily audible sound from the engine area, loss of power, problems with starting the engine.
All symptoms should be consulted with a professional service for proper diagnosis and checking the engine for the need to replace the rings or repair the engine.
