Flail mowers have become a very interesting proposition for many of our customers. Some call them mowers for "special tasks", because they can easily mow tall grass or heavily overgrown areas. As the name suggests, flail mowers are mowers in which the mowing function is performed by flails placed on the cutting shaft. The cutting shaft rotates at an appropriate speed, cutting off anything that is above the set height around its own axis.

More than just a flail mower

The Koala PRO 1200 Peruzzo flail mower with grass catcher is a Mercedes among agricultural machines, with a very wide range of applications in both agriculture and municipal services. The Koala model with a working width of 115 cm is also a solid flail mower that can easily handle tall grass, sticks, twigs, but also a machine with a function of collecting swaths, dry leaves. The swath is collected in a 700 L basket, and thanks to the high discharge system, the contents of the basket can be unloaded to a height of up to 185 cm. Unloading is hydraulic and two-stage. First, the tank is raised and then the cover is opened.

This machine is designed for mowing and maintaining green areas. It will fit perfectly in sports fields, parks, gardens, city squares. Wherever visual effect is also important. And thanks to the possibility of replacing working knives, the machine can work in different conditions.

The cutting height adjustment is set both on the front support wheels and on the rear support roller.

The device can use three types of blades, where we distinguish blades for mowing and collecting grass and for scarifying and collecting felt/moss. The last type of blade is used for scarifying. The possibility of scarifying with a flail mower makes the machine multifunctional, all you need to do is match the mower equipment to the activities you want to perform. Scarifying takes place to a depth of 2.5 cm. The Peruzzo mower performs the function of both aeration during the scarifying process and collecting plant residues. Additionally, thanks to the equipment with a rear roller, the turf is immediately leveled and rolled.
