Flail mowers have become a very interesting proposition for many of our customers. Some people call them mowers for "special tasks" because they can also easily mow tall grass or heavily overgrown areas. As the name suggests, flail mowers are mowers in which the mowing function is performed by flails placed on the cutting shaft. The cutting shaft rotates at the appropriate speed, cutting anything above the set height around its axis.

The Koala model with a working width of 150 cm is also a solid flail mower that can easily cope with tall grass, sticks and twigs, but also a machine with the function of collecting windrows and dried leaves. The swath is collected into a 900 L basket, and thanks to the high discharge system, the contents of the basket can be unloaded to a height of up to 185 cm. Unloading is hydraulic and two-stage. First, the tank is lifted and then the cover is opened.

This machine is intended for mowing and maintaining green areas. It will fit perfectly into sports fields, parks, gardens and city squares. Wherever the visual effect is also important. And thanks to the possibility of replacing the working knives, the machine can work in various conditions.

The cutting height is adjusted both on the front support wheels and on the rear support shaft.

The device can use three types of knives: knives for mowing and collecting grass and for scarifying and collecting felt/moss. The last type of knife is used specifically for scarifying. The possibility of scarifying with a flail mower makes the machine multifunctional, all you need to do is adjust the mower equipment to the activities you want to perform. Scarification takes place to a depth of 2.5 cm. The Peruzzo mower functions as both aeration during the scarification process and collection of plant residues. Additionally, thanks to the rear roller, the turf is immediately leveled and rolled.
