Wedge, locking pin for LS Tractor tractors, LS MT1.25 series and others.
The wedge, the gearbox housing locating pin, is also found in the brake system, engine, clutch and many other places , for LS Tractors.
A wedge, a locking pin, is an element whose main task is to establish the appropriate position on the shaft. We distinguish two types of wedge connections in which wedges are used:
- longitudinal wedge connection (wedge for mounting gears, toothed wheels, hubs on shafts and the like),
- transverse wedge connection (wedge for connecting shafts, rods, sleeves and similar, mounting plates),
In addition to positioning and locking the housing elements, the locking wedges also take up part of the load from the contact surfaces.
