High-pressure hydraulic hose 5/16" NF 215 bar - SNX1 single wire EXTREME

This model is the top variant of the single-braid hose from North Fighter in size 5/16". The Extreme version stands out above all for its smooth, highly abrasion-resistant cover and enhanced working parameters. 

Technical specification of NF Extreme DN08 (5/16"):

Working pressure: 215 bar (standard 1SN hoses are usually rated at 210 bar).

Burst pressure: 860 bar.

Outer layer: Smooth (Smooth Cover) - made of synthetic rubber resistant to oils, abrasion and weather conditions.

Reinforcement: One braid of high-tensile steel wire.

Operating temperature: from -40°C to +100°C (short-term up to +125°C).

Outer diameter: approx. 15.0 mm (+/- 0.3 mm).

Application and installation:

This hose is ideal for places where the lines are exposed to frequent rubbing against each other or against structural parts of the machine. Thanks to the smooth surface, it wears out much more slowly than hoses with a cloth texture.

Crimping parameters:

Ferrule: Standard 5/16" 1SN/1SC.

Crimp diameter (S): For this hose and a standard ferrule it is usually approx. 18.5 mm (always take a control measurement with a caliper after the first crimp).

No skiving: A "non-skive" type hose - you crimp directly onto the rubber.
