The 3/8" (DN10) crimp ferrule is a component designed for permanent crimping of hydraulic hoses with a single steel wire braid (type 1SN/R1AT) and compact hoses (type 1SC).

It's best to read the markings on the side of the old V-belt. If they are illegible, measure the belt width and its outer length (La). On Shibaura and Hinomoto tractors, it's important to regularly check the belt tension – too loose a belt will cause slippage and faster wear, while too tight a belt can cause alternator or water pump bearing failure.
