The main function of a hydraulic filter is to clean the hydraulic oil, retaining all impurities that enter the hydraulic system or are generated during tractor operation, such as solid (mineral) particles. The hydraulic filter should be replaced every time the hydraulic oil is changed or when the vehicle is frequently used. In the case of mini tractors, this is approximately every 100 operating hours for used tractors. The procedure for replacing the hydraulic filter in new tractors is thoroughly described in the machine's instruction manual, and usually occurs after the first 50 operating hours (at least three cycles). The hydraulic filter is usually a metal filter with a thread and seal , mounted near the tractor's transmission, directly in the hydraulic system's oil flow path, most often on the underside of the transmission or under the tractor's floor. Regularly replacing the hydraulic filter guarantees trouble-free operation and ensures that the hydraulic system is free of foreign objects that could damage the tractor or negatively impact its performance, reducing its performance parameters.
