The scarifier is a device for vertical cutting of the soil, which additionally aerates the lawn.

Scarification, on the other hand, is a process that aims to remove moss and disturb the so-called felt, i.e. the layer of grass that is formed as a result of regular mowing. It is worth noting that frequent and systematic scarification has a very positive effect on the soil, the uptake of nutrients by the grass, and stimulates the lawn to even better tillering.

Caring for a beautiful lawn

The Multi-star® hand scarifier model UG-M 3 is a handheld gardening tool. Sharp and hardened, pendulum-mounted knives work reliably. The working width of the scarifier is 30 cm. The hand scarifier is compatible with all handles for garden tools from the Multi-star® series, in particular the handle ZM-A 150.
