Glow plug with a total length of 118 mm and a filament length of 19 mm with an M10x1.25 thread for Japanese tractors, mini tractors and machines of the Kubota L series and others.
A faulty glow plug is a common cause of the engine not starting and the machine not being grounded. The first signs of faulty glow plugs are increased smoke coming from the exhaust system when starting the engine, excessive vibration shortly after starting the engine, or excessive engine noise.
Glow plugs are mounted in the engine block in such a way that the heating tip is located in the intake manifold chamber. The rapid increase in the temperature of the glow plug tip is caused by the current that flows through the glow plugs when the ignition key is turned to the glow plug heating position. The rapid increase in the temperature of the glow plug tip heats the air, and the heated air sucked further into the engine facilitates ignition and starting the engine.
