A fuel pump is a device whose task is to deliver fuel from the fuel tank to the fuel system , maintain the appropriate fuel pressure, and deliver the appropriate amount of fuel for proper engine operation. The most common fuel pump used in tractors is an in-tank, submersible pump mounted inside the fuel tank , operating fully submerged.
