The main task of the filter is to clean the fuel from mechanical impurities and organic micro-pollutants. Fuel filters are divided into two main groups depending on their application - we will use a different type of filter for a gasoline engine than for a diesel engine. Regardless of the type of fuel, the filtering material is various types of paper based on polyester or cellulose fibers with the addition of synthetic fibers.
