Product description

Clutch release bearing with the symbol 986808 and dimensions 66.80 x 39.80 x 19 mm for Japanese tractors and mini tractors of the Kubota B series and others.

The clutch bearing, measuring 33x60x14 mm, is also known as a release bearing or thrust bearing and is the only moving element of the clutch system in a tractor engine and moves along the axis of the drive shaft in a sliding motion. When the clutch pedal is pressed, the release bearing presses on the clutch pressure springs, causing the pressure plate to lift, i.e. the pressure plate moves away from the friction surface %C5% 82a-180-mm-kubota-kb--14t-7-14.html">of the clutch disc and in this way we can disengage our drive, transferring power from the engine (crankshaft) to the chassis (gearbox drive shaft), i.e. change gear or stop the tractor.

Dimensions :

  • Inner diameter: 38 mm,
  • Outer diameter: 66.80 mm,
  • Height: 19 mm.

The first signs of bearing wear and the need for replacement include an unusual sound, such as a humming or buzzing noise coming from the clutch area, which usually disappears when the clutch pedal is pressed. In the case of severe damage or wear to the clutch bearing, you may experience difficulty engaging a gear. It is recommended to replace the bearing whenever you replace one of the clutch pressure plate components or %C5% , as replacing each of these components involves splitting the tractor (separating the gearbox from the engine) and is a relatively expensive and time-consuming process.

Questions & Answers

Why is regular filter replacement (oil, air, fuel) crucial for a mini tractor?

User

Regular filter replacement is the easiest way to extend the life of an engine from brands like Kubota or Yanmar. The oil filter removes metallic contaminants generated during operation, the air filter protects the cylinders from field dust, and the fuel filter prevents water and dirt from damaging the precision injection system. We recommend replacing filters every 50-100 operating hours or at least once per season to ensure optimal engine performance.

How to properly select and sharpen mower blades for a Japanese tractor?

User

When selecting mower blades, consider the mower deck model and the blade length and center bore diameter. Maintaining blade balance is crucial when sharpening – an unbalanced blade causes vibrations that damage the hub bearings. Remember that sharp blades mean healthier grass, a cleaner cut, and less strain on the engine of your Iseki or Mitsubishi tractor.

How to identify the correct V-belt size and how to care for it?

User
Ekspert Traktor.com.pl – Doradca techniczny • 17.02.2026
It's best to read the markings on the side of the old V-belt. If they are illegible, measure the belt width and its outer length (La). On Shibaura and Hinomoto tractors, it's important to regularly check the belt tension – too loose a belt will cause slippage and faster wear, while too tight a belt can cause alternator or water pump bearing failure.
