The machine is integrated with a trailer on road wheels and a ball hitch. It is equipped with a 4-cylinder, liquid-cooled combustion engine with an output of 50 HP. The chipper is electrically operated, and the hydraulic feeder makes operation significantly easier. It also features a safety STOP function in both forward and reverse.
The DWC-50 disc chipper features a 74 cm diameter cutting disc with four cutting knives and two branch intake rollers, one of which has a smooth surface to prevent smaller branches from being "left" beyond the feed tube. The DWC petrol-powered disc chipper is designed for shredding branches and tree trunks up to 20 cm in diameter, producing fine chips of approximately 0.5-1 cm. The final chip size and efficiency also depend on the type of material being shredded and its moisture content.
