The pin for attaching the boundary wire to the robotic lawnmower is used to secure the installation wire to the ground. The pins are made of durable and strong plastic, so they do not interfere with the signal emitted by the signal cable . The pointed tip of the pin allows it to be pushed into the ground very easily with little force.
