Worm shaft with a total length of 567 mm , diameter of 16 mm with an 18T - tooth milled tip for the steering column of Japanese tractors Yanmar YM1410 and Yanmar YM1501 .
The worm gear is the steering column component responsible for steering the tractor. The proper transfer of steering wheel movement to the rod ends and the steering wheels should be as smooth as possible and free from play. At the end of the shaft is a so-called steering column worm with a screw-like thread, directly integrated with a gear or other surface connected to the rod ends.
