M3 x 6L bolt securing the sliding bearing of the HST gearbox assembly for LS Tractor MT1.25 tractors.
The appropriate selection of the screw in terms of strength should be made before starting the assembly, because the shape of the screw and technical parameters can have a direct impact on the safety and durability of the connection. We distinguish 3 classes of screw precision , i.e. A, B and C, and 10 classes (measured in mega pascals) of strength 3.6, 4.6, 4.8, 5.6, 5.8, 6.8, 8.8, 9.8, 10.9, 12.9, where the first digit indicates the tensile strength limit and the second the yield strength relative to the first value (in percentage). The higher the values, the greater the screw strength, so 3.6 is the lowest quality screw (low-carbon steel) and 12.9 is the highest strength class (low-alloy steel).
