M3 x 6L bolt securing the sliding bearing of the HST gearbox assembly for LS Tractor MT1.25 tractors.

We distinguish 3 classes of screw precision , i.e. A, B and C, and 10 classes (measured in mega pascals) of strength 3.6, 4.6, 4.8, 5.6, 5.8, 6.8, 8.8, 9.8, 10.9, 12.9, where the first digit indicates the tensile strength limit and the second the yield strength relative to the first value (in percentage). The higher the values, the greater the screw strength, so 3.6 is the lowest quality screw (low-carbon steel) and 12.9 is the highest strength class (low-alloy steel).
