M16 sleeve for mounting the Y-type flail knives of the EFGC / EFGCH / EFGCN fairy mower.

A spacer is an element whose main function is to keep two or more elements a constant distance from each other and are also used to prevent the movement of moving elements. Spacer sleeves also absorb vibrations and heat generated during the operation of the moving parts of the machine.

To properly install one set of Y-type knives, we need two distance sleeves, which we put between the knife holder on the cutting shaft and the knives. The entire set of Y-type knives consists of:

• screw M16 x 80 ,
• nut M16 x 2.00,
• 2 x Y / X knife ,
• see what the whole set of Y / X knives looks like.

In flail mowers, the cutting element are hammers , the so-called flails , which can be replaced with hammer knives , which resemble an inverted letter Y. Y-type knives are interchangeable with flails and for proper installation you need distance sleeves that keep the knives in one position and do not allow for controlled movement.
